Problem

My courses for the semester do not appear in My Courses.

Solution

Access to courses is controlled by a strict enrollment process.
  1. Instructors should check with the Department Chairperson.  If the Chairperson has not sent the instructor's name to the registrar, the instructor cannot get Blackboard access to the assigned course.
  2. After the registrar's office updates the enrollment system it takes 4-12 hours for the enrollment data to be sent to Blackboard.  Please be patient and check again.  Remember to refresh your screen.

It's possible that the courses have been hidden from the My Courses view.

  1. Check the settings of My Courses.  Click the gear to the right of My Courses to “Manage My Courses Module Settings”.
  2. Check the Group by Term box, if it is not already turned on. Then go through the Terms and check the boxes for all the semesters you want to see. i.e. 20SP, 20S12, and make sure the Open Term is also checked “on”.
  3. Make sure all the boxes are checked for Courses in which you are enrolled. Submit.
  4. Refresh the My Courses page.
