How to Back Up Your Bookmarks

Firefox

  1. Click the Library button 57 library icon , then click Bookmarks. Scroll to the bottom and click Show all Bookmarks. 

  2. From the toolbar on the Library window, click  f60cc26c38fc04cce87eb6ea6ec8c400-1259975468-619-1.pngImport and Backup and choose Export Bookmarks to HTML...
  3. In the Export Bookmarks File window that opens, choose a location to save the file, which is named bookmarks.html by default. Rename the file to Bookmarks-(today's Date). The desktop is usually a good spot, but any place that is easy to remember will work. Also email the HTML file to yourself.
  4. Click the Save button. The Export Bookmarks File window will close.
  5. Close the Library window.
