First Time User - Account Activation

Welcome to PCCC!

To access important services, you will need to activate your PCCC Account. Follow the step-by-step instructions below to get up and running quickly.

Step 1 - Get your Account Activation Email

As a new member of the PCCC community, you should have received an account activation email sent to your personal email address. This email includes your account username and a one-time password for initial account setup.

Cannot find the account activation email?

  • Check your spam or junk folder

  • If needed, fill out the Get Your Login Credentials form to have a new account activation email sent to your personal email address on file.

  • If you are still not receiving the account activation email, contact our IT support team at (973) 684-6464 for assistance.

Step 2 - Sign In and Change Your Password

  1. Browse to https://my.pccc.edu directly or click on the My PCCC link on the PCCC web site.

  2. When prompted to sign in, use the username (e.g., jsmith@students.pccc.edu) and initial password provided in the account activation email.

  3. You will be prompted to change your password. Update your password using the initial password provided in the email as the current password, then create a new password.

    Note - Passwords must be a minimum of 8 characters and include at least; one upper case, one lower case, one number, and one special character @ # $ % ^ & * - _ ! + = [ ] { } | \ : ' , . ? / ` ~ " ( ) ; < >.

  4. Register a method of authentication:

    1. Microsoft Authenticator app

    2. Text Message

    3. Other Authenticator App (Authy, Google)

  5. Once complete, you will be welcomed to the PCCC portal.

  6. Adding multiple methods of authentication after the initial method is set up is strongly recommended. You can find information on how to add additional methods here.
