Identify phishing attack using the hover technique

This article helps users determine the validity of a suspicious email that was received

Step-by-step guide

1. Access your email inbox

2. Open the suspicious email

3. Hover your mouse pointer over the malicious link

4. Check the validity of the hover information. In the example below, the link does not go to amazon.com so it is obviously malicious and should not be followed.
