This article will help you install Zoom and log into the PCCC Zoom System

Zoom and Virtual Desktops

PCCC does NOT recommend using Zoom Videoconferencing inside a Virtual Desktop. Zoom should be run from your laptop, home desktop, tablet or smart phone.

Windows

Install Zoom

  1. Browse to https://zoom.us/support/download
    The appropriate Zoom client for your computer (i.e., Mac or PC) will be downloaded

  2. Double-click on the installer (usually located in your download folder) and complete the installation steps


Logging In

  1. Open Zoom and Click Sign In

  2. Select Sign in with SSO

  3. Type in "pccc" and click Continue

  4. Type in your PCCC User ID and Password

  5. A pop up window will appear. Click "Open Zoom"

  6. You are now logged in to the zoom interface

Macintosh

Pre-Installation

To install Zoom  on your Mac computer, you may need change your Security and Privacy settings to allow for apps downloaded from identified developers.

  1. Permissions to Install
  2. Click on the Apple Icon at the top left corner of your screen. Choose System Preferences.

  3. Click on Security & Privacy.

  4. Click the lock icon at the bottom left to have access to make changes.

  5. Enter your computer administrator username and password.
  6. Change Allow apps downloaded from:, to App Store and identified developers.

  7. Note: For Mac High Sierra (10.13.x), you will need to click on Allow too.

  8. Click the lock icon again to prevent any further changes.

Installing the Zoom application

  1. Visit our Download Center.
  2. Next to Zoom Client for Meetings, click Download.
  3. Open the downloaded file. It is typically saved to your Downloads folder.
  4. Follow the prompts to install the application on your computer.

Logging In

  1. Open Zoom and Click Sign In

  3. Type in "pccc" and click Continue

  5. A pop up window will appear. Click "Open Zoom"

  6. You are now logged in to the zoom interface

Android

Installation

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
  2. Search for ZOOM Cloud Meetings.
  3. Locate and tap the entry by zoom.us.
  4. Tap Install.
  5. Read the permissions listing.
  6. If the permissions listing is acceptable, tap Accept.
  7. Allow the installation to complete.

Logging In

  1. Open the newly installed Zoom application and touch "Sign in"

  3. In companydoman type "pccc" and touch Continue

  4. Sign in with your PCCC User ID and Password

  5. Your android device will now be signed into PCCC Zoom

iOS (Apple)

Installation

  1. Tap on the Apple App Store icon on your iOS device to open.



  2. Tap on Search at the bottom right of your screen. 
  3. Enter Zoom in the search text box.



  4. Select ZOOM Cloud Meetings from the available app choices, and then tap on the GET button. 



  5. The install process will start.




Logging In


  1. Tap Open. either from installation screen or App Icon



  2. In the Zoom app, tap Sign In.



  3. In the Sign In window, tap SSO



  4. Enter pccc in the text box to complete the domain name, as shown below, then tap Go.



  5. In the PCCC Sign in page below, enter your pcccID and pccc password, then tap Sign In



  6. If you see the following pop-up, tap Open.



  7. In the next window, tap Allow.



  8. In the next window, tap OK.



  9. The Zoom main window will be displayed.

     


  10. Zoom app icon should also appear on your Home screen.
