Change of Financial Aid or Award Adjustment
Problem
Why did my financial aid change?
Solution
The Federal government makes final Pell Grant offers based on your actual enrollment status and is contingent upon verification of any discrepancies in the data you provide on your financial aid application. In addition, the amount in your offer letter is made assuming that you will enroll full-time.
You will not receive as much as if you were enrolled full time (minimum of 12 credit hours), but your Pell Grant funds will be disbursed in accordance with your enrollment status and you will not be refused an award simply because you're enrolled less than half time.
If you have made changes to your schedule (add, dropped, or withdrawn from one or more classes), aid may be adjusted based on the courses in which you are currently enrolled.
